The HBO will present their first pay-per-view boxing event on 9 April 2011 with a much anticipated boxing match, headed by the Mexican boxing legend Erik The El Terrible Morales against Marcos El Chino Maidana at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas , Nevada. Erik Morales is best known for his trilogy with fellow Mexican Marco Antonio Barrera and high current pound-for-pound king Manny Pacman Pacquiao. Morales was the last man to beat Manny Pacquiao when he won a decision in 2005, Pacquiao avenged his defeat by stopping Morales in two other competitions.

The ruthless Maidana with a boxing records of 29-2, 27 KO's, is here to redeem themselves as well. His only defeat came against Andreas Kotelnik and Amir Khan.
Pay-per-view will also gained a solid card with former junior middleweight champion Ronald Winky Wright vs Matthew Macklin and an easy fight between fields ex-Robert The Ghost Guerrero vs. Michael Katsidis.
