Unique Article Wizard (UAW) has been around for a few years and many members swear that its the top article submission service available today. Others are disappointed at the quality of the blogs within the network and the disappointing number of backlinks that are actually created. After all, the goal is to generate massive quantities of backlinks through article marketing.
So what are article submission services and how can they help your internet marketing business? In general, article submissions generate direct traffic and create one way backlinks to your blog or website. Article submission services offer you a tool to help you to submit your articles to thousands of blogs. Some blogs are higher authority sites and others are not, but basically members hope to receive one-way links per article they submit. Members are can submit as many articles as they want, so the more articles submitted. the more links created. The more links created, the higher your search engine ranking. There is now doubt that article marketing is effective and, some say that there is no better way to increase your search engine rankings than by article marketing and perhaps these submission services can help.
There are a number of competing article submission services available. Some of the more popular ones are: SEO Linkvine, Unique Article Wizard, Build My Rank, My Article Network, Article Rank, Article Marketing Robot and Distribute Your Article. I have been a member of Unique Article Wizard (UAW) and was impressed with the service, but not impressed with the quality of blog sites where my articles turned up and not happy with the number of backlinks generated. I have been checking my backlinks using the free Majestic SEO, link intelligence tool. I ended up writing ten articles for one of my sites using UAW.
What you do is write one 5 to 7 paragraph article and then write 2 more structurally similar articles and then submit them to UAW. The screeners at UAW approves each article and then with your three original articles they generate thousands of unique versions of your original articles. The goal is to prevent duplicate content and increase blog approval rates. I found the process to be time consuming, but the goal is to create as high a quality article as possible. The UAW network has a good reputation for delivery pretty decent article to its network webmeisters. After two months, though, I decided to discontinue my membership to UAW.
There are a few things that the article submitter can do to increase there backlinking success rate. One is to write quality articles and since articles submitted to UAW approval, the screeners have the right to accept and reject your article. The second is to make sure that the keyword phrases you select are optimized within the article itself and on the webpage you're hoping to link back to. The third is to write loads of articles.
Unique Article Wizard provides statistics for its members and you can choose how many articles are dripped into the system to make things seem more natural to the search engines. Ultimately UAW will distribute your article to around 400 to 800 websites, depending on the niche, over several weeks. When I looked though the list of blogs that they distributed my article to, and actually clicked on the sites to check it out, I wasn't terrible impressed at many of the sites. Some were pretty good, but a lot were not. Some appeared to be autoblogs, with little direct webmaster management. A recent report also suggested that the UAW network has grown too big and that 90% of the article directories in the UAW network have a page rank of 0. Many sites didn't get indexed to my article, so the total number of links created out of the hundreds it was submitted to is around 5% from my experience.
Unique Article Wizard is a well conceived article distribution service and the fact that each article has to be approved by human screeners, keeps article quality pretty high. If you are interested in their service, you need to write good articles and you need to make sure that the keywords you select match up with your article content and the webpage you are trying to create links for. The feedback from the various internet marketing forums gives UAW mixed reviews, some swear by it and others were disappointed.
