When Was The Last Time You Said "I Need A Gift For Someone" And Did Not Know What To Buy? This happens to me all of the time, but then I found a good solution to the problem.
More and more people are doing more and more business online. The Interner has really brought people around the world, closer together, and we also have better opportunities to be closer to retailers, wholesalers, and everything in between!
In the old days, and up until not too long ago, when people did not have the time ot energy to get out and go shopping, whether for gifts or for anything, they were able to do gift buying through mail order catalogs. You could mail in cash, check, or money order, with an order form or a letter listing what you wanted to purchase, and then the mail order dealer or retailer, would send you the items, whether via UPS, FedEx or the Postal Service.
Today, most of that mail order catalog shopping has been technologically replaced by awesome websites of merchandise, and a person can buy just about anything online! Take gifts for example...you could visit a place such as www.iNeedaGiftForSomeone.com and scroll through thousands of great gift items, and ideas.
That's another awesome thing about shopping on websites...when you do not know what you want to buy, as a treat for yourself, or as a gift to a friend...you can simply scroll through a website and look at photos and product descriptions until you find the ideal gift or item!
Let's say you are buying office supplies for yourself, in a huge office supply store, there are 8,000 varieties of writing instruments, or so it seems, but when you are on a website, it is much easier to narrow down your search by inputting the type of writing instrument you are looking for!
When you want Bath & Body Items, which always make great gifts, you do not want to handle 47 different choices to find the right one, your arms will quickly tire after lifting a few off of the shelves. It is easier to scroll through the many choices on a website. Doesn't that make better sense?
The same thing goes with something like Candles...Everyone Loves Candles, but you might not want to hold 22 of them to your nostrils in a store. Eventually your olfactory senses will be numbed by all of the scents.
So, next time you say or think to yourself, "I need a gift for someone," go online and find what you need. As a self help writer and speaker, I always like to offer advice on how people can simplify their lives, rather than complicate them!
