Make Image "Header-Ready". If you want a picture of yourself or another object in your header, you'll need to make the background of the desired image transparent. You can do this with Adobe Photoshop if it's already on your computer, if not, I would recommend using paint.net. Download free software at www.getpaint.net
Copy the image from your computer and upload it into a paint.net template.
Use the magic wand to select the background color, then press the delete button. It may help if the background is a similar color. If you are having issues with this step, try adjusting the transparency levels. You can also very carefully use the eraser to make the background image this takes a while longer though!
Use the rectangle select tool to encircle the image.
Once the image is encircled, copy it.
Open a new paint.net template and paste the image into it.
Save. When it previews the saved image, it should have the transparent "checkerboard" background.
Get Your Theme's Header Size.
Make Your Header! Download Xheader.com for templates.
Once download is complete, click on New.
Select Load from Template Library
Choose a Header Template
Change the default XHeader size to what your theme supports.
Upload your transparent image
Add text which briefly explains what you do or what your website is about.
Save as PNG file.
Upload Your Customized Header to your MLM Wordpress Blog. Go back to the "header" area in your MLM Wordpress backoffice. Locate and upload your header. Crop if necessary.
