Foolproof Plan For A Fast Healthy Weight Loss

If you want to achieve a fast healthy weight loss, there is no way of getting it done without putting real effort into your weight loss regimen. You can lose weight with just diet alone and the same can be said for workouts, but if you want to lose weight fast and stay healthy, you have to combine them both. You can always stick to one style that suits you better, but for best result maximum effort is all but necessary.

If you are dedicated enough to stick to a smart diet plan for an extended period of time, it is more than possible to lose weight and keep your desired weight. However, a diet plan without proper workout regimen leaves some things to be desired. For example, diet alone will help you lose weight, but a big chunk those lost pounds are actually muscle. In fact, about 25% of your weight loss will come from muscle loss. Now, you don't have to be a doctor to understand that muscle loss is almost always never good.

Having more muscle mass helps you burn fat more efficiently and therefore, the more muscle you put on the easier it becomes to burn off excess fat. The opposite can be said for muscle loss, the more you lose them the harder it becomes to burn off unwanted excess fat. So even though a smart diet plan can help you lose weight in the short term, you won't see lasting result unless you follow it with a workout regimen.

Ideally, you want to do both aerobic and anaerobic exercise, but realistically no one really has the time to do them both every day. So I would suggest you invest half an hour a day on your workouts. Exercise 5 to 6 days a week and do an aerobic exercise for a day and an anaerobic exercise on the next. You can jog or power-walk for your aerobic exercise, but if you are not particularly an outdoors person, you can also just dance to your favorite tune for half an hour. For anaerobic exercise just start small with a tiny dumbbell and start with a simple arm curl. From day two, you can add dumbbell exercises for your triceps and shoulder.

Most people have a tough time sticking to an exercise regimen, but there are also those who over-do-it. I stress the fact that you should only exercise 5 to 6 days out of the week, because your muscle need resting to give you the best result for the exercise you put in. Your muscles get stronger as you use them, but they also take some damage that will be repaired naturally if you just give it time to heal. So be smart and avoid exercising for days on without giving your body proper time to recover.

Remember, the only way to lose weight fast, stay healthy, and to keep your ideal weight is to follow a smart diet plan and to exercise regularly.
