So tell us a little on the company's background? How did it get started?
"SirReal Fashion (SRF) is a New York City based brand that has emerged into the world of fashion VIA ART and STYLE. My original designs are refined from raw art and transform quality fabrics into traveling canvases. When human attraction to comfort and beauty catalyzes the pursuit of confidence in expression with world class appeal, an ultra-real culture of contemporary art mobilizes to kinetic creations to clutch surreal moments.
Expressions created into walking works of art translate my Art mediums from water colors, acrylics and oils to specialty inks. This allows art to maintain its true identity and continue to serve its true purpose; being created and shared with the world to enhance our visual lives and stimulate our intellectual minds.
SirReal started when my cousin (an art connoisseur) and I decided to take my art from oil paintings and raw sketches to creating a t-shirt designs to share with all who love art. I can only share one painting with one person where tees can be traveling canvases."
What about the name? What is the significance or story behind it?
"SirReal's designs are made up of strong confident imagery along with a focus of appealing art. Thus, the name SirReal represents confidence style for the man who wears it and the play on words relates to the fine art focus of surrealism in art. The ladies brand will also have a similar focus of confident imagery and art called, Ladies First by SirReal."
In what region do you do most of your business?
"Starting off in the boutiques of SOHO NYC and gaining local support as well as celebrity and athlete endorsements has helped us grow and expand nation wide. We now are in stores from NY to the west coast of southern California with other nation wide locations through out the greater US. We are also in select international locations as well."
How many stores are you currently in?
"30+ throughout the greater US."
What advice do you have for someone just starting their own line? Any tricks of the trade?
"Create unique designs with a focus to appeal to people outside of your self. Also to spread your name and product to all outlets of promotion to the people see the great product and it will sell itself if you maintain quality in design and production. Tricks to the trade come with experience as persistency is key to success in learning than executing."
Do you manufacture local or internationally?
"We currently produce domestically but are always researching ways to improve, expand and develop our product with no limits on quality. "
How does your line fit into the sneakerhead movement?
"Our plethora of colors and original bold designs allow sneaker heads to match their favorite palettes with art, style and comfort. "
What do you think the sneakerhead movement is missing from a retail perspective?
"The sneakerhead movement will always grow and expand as new young talent and wisdom in marketing evolves in this information era. A solid platform for sneakerheads to collaborate with designers to express their ideas and opinions on the new hot combination of colors and patterns to drive evolving trends in art, design and footwear."
How many designs do you normally come out with per season?
"We like to be select and precise in our designs and develop quality over quantity but anywhere from 10 15 designs can be expected from our new collections.
What do you think your hottest designs are for this season? Why? The King I Am tee and the Fresh Greenergy Tee combine style with quality in production and appeal. These designs have been getting great feedback from retailers, celebrities and most of all the fashion heads who support the art and style movements. The Flawless Thief Tee is a top seller and celeb favorite as well."

"We are always looking to expand our brand into the world's coolest, diverse, and premium retailers."
