I calculated dy/dx to be 2x - 4
then calculated that the coordinates of the turning point is (2,-3)

then you plug that x into find the y coordinate...
Now you can see that if the a, or the coefficient before the x^2 is positive or greater than 0
the maximum will be infinity and there will only be a minimum..So in this case that coordinate is the minimum.
