TEXAS HOLD EM POKER: Bluff to win more

Preliminary risks can prove to be potentially dangerous if you trying to bluff in Texas Hold Em Poker. So try to envision the image of the table that you don't bluff just too much. In fact, instead of being excessively bold and stuff you should start off by remaining very conservative and only displaying your hands when you kind of have the best hand.

Now is the most crucial part... when to bluff??? It is always advisable to try and bluff when you are out of position and precisely speaking is best when you are about two to three seats on the left of the big blind. Actually if you raise from this position most of the opponents are bound to think that you are likely to have a very strong hand.

Once you have started raising about two to three times of the big blind, now it is time to keep track of the number of people who are calling. Now if it is co-incidental enough that a pre-fold raises then on all grounds the best idea is to fold.

But then again if somebody calls you, your wise next step should be to raise following the flop. You should try to play as if you have a really strong hand to back you even if you were not hit by the flop. Once again, raising twice or thrice the pot is a clever bet, so if the raise made by your opponent gets out, and he calls you will have to get into the turn else if he decides to fold, you would win.

If the call is from your opponent, it is likely that they have made their hands or they too could be on the verge of a big draw. But remember you are here to bluff in Texas Hold Em Poker, so you would definitely not slow down, rather throw another big bet , whatever you think is necessary.

A severe dilemmatic situation arises if your opponent calls you at this point of time. Some believe you should check while others think you should just go for another big bet.

All these steps will prove successful if and only if your opponent doesn't have what you would call a huge hand or they are crazy enough to fold in the mean time. However, it is always advisable to go slow and make sure to have a huge hand on display.
