They are actually not rechargeable but replaceable AAA batteries which can be bought from every shop. But as the device is power saving, 2 AAA batteries are usually more than enough to provide several years of usage. And that makes it quite a reliable gadget also because it will certainly function and work properly when it is needed the most, unlike most of the other gadgets.
