They have published many articles on 2012. None begin to delve into the relationship between this prophecy and Scriptures warning about deceptions in these last days. This is the problem with many things concerning Scripture and articles written about last days and what is going to occur.
We as Christians are responsible for letting people know what is ahead as far as prophecy is concerned. However, there is much confusion as to what actually lies ahead in the near future. This is due to the plathera of views on end time events and how they will transpire. This ought not be the case.
Jesus told us exactly what would transpire in the last days. The problem is that too many people have not taken the time to study Jesus' words carefully enough. For some reason, they feel it is up to someone else to do their studying for them.
But on the day of judgment, God will not accept this as an excuse. Each individual will be held accountable for their laxness in studying God's Word for themselves. This is why Scripture tells us to STUDY to show ourselves approved.
God expects us to lead those in this world out of darkness and into His marvelous light. How can we do this if we scarcely know God ourselves. We can only know God through His Word. Thus without study, we do not really know God. We only know about Him.
So then, if you rely on only someone to teach you the Word of God, and that person is teaching you falsehood, you are led down the wrong path willingly. No one is forcing you not to study. It is your lax hand that is responsible for the lies you accept as truth in God's name.
There are many things to say and time does not permit me to address all things. But if you are guilty of not opening your Bible for yourselves, I urge you to do so. Only you and you alone will stand before God on judgment day.
Your pastor/teacher will not be there. You will approach judgment on your own. Therefore, all the more reason to study the Word for yourself to make sure what you are being taught is the truth. If you visit my website, you will find many accepted truths within the Church are challenged.
This is only what needs to be done. There are many false ideas concerning prophecy which are being preached today and accepted as the Word of God. This is due to lack of study on both the laity and leaders of today's Church.
