Islam and the first pillar of Islam! Second perception
The first pillar in Islam is to acknowledge god, the one and only, believe in Him and worship Him. This the essence of the divine message to mankind throughout time. It is a call, it is a reminder, nothing but, nothing more, nothing less.
Man is invited to look into himself and the universe, examine, analyze, apprehend and conclude. The call is simple, direct and easy. There are no complexities nor does it take an Einstein brain to figure it out. It does not need you to be a genius to understand.
Simply look into the universe and make your own ideas, your own conclusions and then your own convictions. You are provided with brain, for most of us that is, and you must use it not only to have a profession, or have a job, or have friendly talk with a friend in a bar house, but it is there to give you an idea about your being, your life, your presence, your purpose and your death awaiting you at the end of the corridor.
So, simply follow your mind instincts and look at the universe with your mind's eye, keep your self open and you shall apperceive why you are here, few years of good and evil life and death, ups and downs, a taste of sadness, fear, and false illusory happiness. Then you would realize how slippery is the illusion of your life and unreal it is. Run after money, after power, after fame, after glory or simply after your survival bite, if you do not die before, then see for yourself what you are really doing on the surface of the earth.
Do not follow the other rats and mice, for ladies, nor the cockroaches of the human biped species. Follow your own instinct to know, to be genuinely curious in everything under the sun and think how come you are there, thinking, eating, drinking and working.
Not so difficult, the difficulty resides in releasing yourself from your lusts and desires, being a slave to your own interest and following the footsteps of the general flock.
Release yourself for the pleasure of it and you will see other dimensions of your life and others, the universe and the end of it all.
This consists the way to the first pillar of Islam. You are made the judge for your own self. Your mind is your final judge, Nothing else matters, for it is you who is responsible, and you alone can decide.
