Women who have medium length or long hair can wear this type of hair style. This casual look is created by gathering hair into a single bundle, and then securing it with an elastic or tie. There are many variations of the ponytail, such as wearing it tightly or loosely at the back, top, or side of the head.
Number two: The bob. A bob cut is a short hair cut not only worn by women but men as well, in which the hair is typically cut straight around the head just below jaw-length, often with a fringe or bangs at the front. This hair style first became popular in the 1920s, during which women flappers cut their hair as a way of demonstrating their independence. As the 1930s approached, women started to grow their hair longer, and the sharp lines of the bob were abandoned. But now, hair styles from the past centuries are gradually coming back with a vengeance and with a modern twist.
Number three: The French twist. Speaking of twist, the French twist is a form of updo that is created by gathering hair in a low ponytail and twisting the ponytail upwards until it turns in on itself against the head, and then secured with pins, clips, sticks, or a comb. Considered as a professional look, it is often worn for formal occasions as well as in business settings.
