Young or adult, everybody likes to eat cookies. No one can deny that cookies are really delicious and are even interesting to eat anytime, anywhere. Cookies are just really great for snacks!

Although everybody likes to eat cookies, not all know how it's made. And maybe only a few are willing to learn how to make or bake cookies. They may be are discouraged to do so because of the thought of difficulty in following the complicated process of baking cookies. However, making cookies is never a hard time at all. In fact, small kids can even do it with just a slight supervision of an adult. The process of baking cookies is just all about measuring, mixing, shaping, and baking. To take you to a step by step process of doing that, here are the simplified procedure that are easy to follow most especially for a beginner like you. Here it is:

Gather all the materials and ingredients needed. These are the following:

Dry

1 medium and 1 large mixing bowls

spatula

baking sheet

cup of Packed brown sugar

cup of grounded sugar

1 tsp. Baking soda

1 tsp. salt

2 cups of all purpose flour

2 cups of chocolate chips

Wet

2 eggs

1 tsp. Of vanilla extract

1 cup of Butter (2 sticks)

Preheat the oven 350 degrees Fahrenheit

In a medium bowl, combine flour, salt, and baking soda. Gently mix them together and set them aside for the mean time.

In large bowl, beat the butter, then add the white sugar and the brown sugar and mix. Next add the vanilla extract and mix. When they are all completely mixed together, add the eggs and mix again until completely combined.

Slowly add the dry ingredients from the medium bowl to the wet ingredients in the large bowl, mixing until the dry ingredients are totally combined. At this point you should have a moderately thick cookie dough.

Add chocolate chips. Mix together.

Scoop up a golf ball size amount of dough with a spoon and drop in onto a cookie sheet. Leave at least an inch of space between the cookies because they'll spread out when they cook. You can usually fit 12 cookies on a cookie sheet at a time.

Put the cookies in the oven and bake for about 10-14 minutes. Remove the pan from the oven and let the cookies rest on the pan for 3-4 minutes.

Using a spatula, lift cookies off onto wax paper or a cooling rack. Let cool for about 5 more minutes.

Then they are ready to be munched together with your family or friends!

If you want enjoy more eating the coolies that you personally baked, you can have fun with the shapes. Mold some playful cookie shape that you like. But if you find it a little bit difficult to do so, you use a cookie cutter. There are different kinds of shapes of cookie cutter available in the market. There are heart-shaped, foot, star, and even flower. Kids will definitely enjoy the playful cookie shapes you serve them!
