Sex should always feel good, so to keep everything sliding when it's supposed to be, lubricant is a good thing to have on hand. Even if you're someone who gets naturally very wet, things can start to hurt after a really long session of making love. There are different kinds of lubricants out there, but I'm going to discuss organic lubes.
Females need to be more careful then males when buying organic lubes, or any lubricant for that matter. Because of the genetic make up of women, the organic lubes enter the body. Anything going into a vagina has the possibility of changing the PH balance leading to infections. Make sure the lubricant purchased is meant for internal use as well as external.
Just because a company claims to be selling organic lubes does not make it true. When shopping for an organic lube it is that much more important to read the ingredients list. If you can not pronounce every word on the ingredients list, then that is something to think about. The exception to this is sometimes the flower components are listed in Latin. If you are unsure, then look up the ingredients online to find out what they are.
Organic lubes often have a good amount of water in them. Water is not a good lubricant, it quickly and easily dries out, often causing more issues then if no lubricant was used at all. If your lubricant has water, be aware of how much of the lubricant is water compared to the rest of the ingredients.
There are also a lot of organic lubes out there that do have some traces of nut products in them. This is fine if you do not have an allergy, but if you do, then be very aware of these lubricants. An allergic reaction during sex is not the sort of memorable experience anyone is after. All lubricants have a risk of an allergic reaction. If it is the first time you've used a new lubricant, do a test on the inside of your wrist and inside of your thigh to be sure.
Just because a lubricant is organic does not necessarily mean it is edible. Be careful ingesting any of the organic lubes unless it specifically says it is safe to do so. Of course none of them are meant to ingest by the bottle full, but odds are during long and steamy sex with your lover, some of the lubricant at some point is going to get near your mouth.
The great thing about quality organic lubes is that they do not need washing off, unlike other lubricants. Most organic lubes contain properties that are very good for the skin. If it feels uncomfortable simply wash it away with a damp cloth, or if you don't mind it, leave it on for softer skin.
