An Opinion About The Bad Guy Dress Up Game

One of the most common games that children love to play is the dress up game. Generally, these games involved dressing up celebrities and famous cartoon or anime characters with different clothes and accessories. Although we think that these games is safe for kids, there are some type of dress up games that parents need to check out for and decide whether they are safe for their children or not.

One particular game that I found not really appropriate for very young gamers is the Bad Guy - Dress Up game. Parental guidance is important because this game involved dressing up a creepy doll with tools and objects that are often used by killers and other antagonists in the movies. These equipments include a scythe, a chainsaw, a rake, a knife, a hammer, a bat and even dynamite.

While the design of the shirts and pants are tolerable, there are some shirts that have a "Kill!" and "Lecter is my psychiatrist" sign. The rest of the shirts and pants have a Halloween custom design like a mummy shirt and torn shirt with sticking worm on it.

In addition to the tools, the "Masks" really add to the bad guy outfit. You can find the masks worn by Jason, Freddy as well as Dr. Hannibal Lecter's mask. The rest of the mask is unobjectionable which include a gorilla mask, a football helmet, a clown face, and a skull mask. Adding to the creepiness is the backgrounds of the game. Scary cemetery, houses, street and creepy woods are the backgrounds to choose from.

While some of the accessory items are cute like the green bird and callouts containing a heart and cookies. There is a callout with "kill em all" phrase on it and a nail accessories that gives a nail-pierced head effect. Some of the accessories include eyeglasses, black and white cat, small creepy doll, and pirate eye patch.

While others may consider this game tolerable, I would still say this is not an appropriate game for my three-year-old niece nor I want to think of my nephew wearing a bad-guy outfit during Halloween just like the ones presented in the game. Young players could probably play games like this but there has to be an adult on their side. This is just one of the many games I found to be categorized in the "safe" game but would need adult guidance when played.
