It is a known fact that American women love the English accent. They love the idea of it for some reason. The way in which they say things and the dialect they do it is in fact the thing they love most. The reason being it is different to what they are used to and as a result they are able to get away from all the men they are used to.
The men they are used to are pigs. But at least for a short while they are able to get away from all these pigs and embark on a new adventure with a man from a strange land. The English are well-known for being well spoken and gentleman. Women in America see this as a knight in shining armor effect on them. They are being saved from all their troubles across the land. And there are no easy ways to get away from it, but the English gentry is an easy way out of this.
On the same coin across the pond relationships are then envy of men, who think that American women are something special. There is a stigma among British men that American women are something of beauty, more so than the women they get back home. So the attraction is mutual but that does not lead to success.
Perhaps women seeing bumbling English fools in Hollywood movies inspire them to want one for themselves. Or perhaps they admire the Mr. Darcy type of British man who is able to mend broken hearts and ride off into the sunset with the girl. This idea of a fairytale adventure with a happy ending is something American women are longing for. Many of the princes in Disney films as well as all fairy tales are English.
Growing up with this sentiment as children, women love to be able to get to that ideal of life being a fairytale. If this is possible they will grab it with both hands. And as a result the English man is the best way of achieving this. Life is short and American women are impatient, so if you are an English man pursuing American women get out there as quick as possible. There are many beautiful American women waiting for you, and waiting for the opportunity to get their very own fairytale ending.
