Orchard Bank Secured Credit Card

Regardless of what your situation is, there's a reason that Orchard Bank gets so many hits online.

There are a few reasons on why I like the card. It has great benefits, it has a low fee structure, and the reviews online tend to be fairly positive. Remember, with most cards that have a design to "help credit", you're going to find a lot of people out there that don't know what they are talking about, or what they are doing. What you're going to find is that many have no idea on how to run a card, and they blame their actions on others (the companies), rather than themselves.

With the Orchard Bank line of cards, you're going to find that there are a lot that you can choose from. It's all going to depend on your credit history, as well as what your situation is today.

The fees are very comparable compared to most online. While a lot are going to charge you on a monthly basis, the Orchard card is only going to charge you on a annual basis. Yes, there are cards that are going to give one time charges, but I look at it this way. If you're using this card to build yoru credit, I would keep it for about 3 years. After that time period, your score should be good enough to upgrade to a normal card that has little, or no fees.

The other thing that I wanted to mention was the APR. With any secured based card, you're going to find that the APR shouldn't matter. You really need to get into the habit of paying your card off in full. By paying your card off in full, you're going to find that you can easily bypass the APR. Just picture it like a 30 day interest free loan. If you can condition yourself to think about this all the time, you will find that you won't have a problem having a bigger bill than you think. Trust me, that interest can pile up over time, and this is something that you don't want!

Keep this card in your arsenal when you're looking for a new card. Make sure that it's something that you want and something that you can use.

The Orchard Bank Secured Credit Card review continues, where I highlight more fees and other things that you should be aware of.
