The main focus of our Vaccine and Ice-pack Development Department is the minimization of waste vaccine and the maximization of refrigerator and freezer storage. This is clearly evident from the new and improved products entering the UNICEF program on a continual basis. Cold chain equipment failure is simply not an option and Zero Appliances pride's itself on the low failure percentage rate is achieves on a annual basis. Zero Appliances joined the Extended Program on Immunization (EPI) in 1996. With co-operation from the World Heath Organization (WHO) and UNCEF, Zero Appliances has gone from strength to strength in the advancement of their vaccine and ice-pack storage equipment. Included in the range are 5 vaccine storage refrigerators (some with ice-pack freezing) and dedicated ice-pack freezers. We cater for both hot and temperate zones (see specification sheet). All the models are able to operate off liquid petroleum gas (LPG), kerosene (paraffin) or electricity, as may be necessary.
