Being only manager
Some people are quite sad that they still have no opportunity to become a chairman in Football Manager 2011. They argue it would be fine to get this type of item in the game. Notwithstanding such propositions can be easily rejected. The game is named Football Manager - it's designed to provide a real manager simulation with transfers and contracts direction in real soccer life. It's excessively valuable point in truth. If you'd become a chairman in the game it should be named Football Chairman 2012!
Player stats
It's quite clear that statistics in Football Manager 2011 is developed excellently. Nevertheless its details could step up to a prominent level in Football Manager 2012. It will be nice if developers add an opportunity to explore all player's tackles, goals, passes, headers, shots for any year (not only current one). A different nice statistical feature to have is looking through training progress of player for his whole history in the game.
Minor enhancements are significant too
Minor changes were a pet-subject in Football Manager games everlastingly. Of course, we await for a lot of new little features in the next Football Manager game. Several of them can be enumerated just right at this moment: new approaches to interact with fans, ability to direct youth academy, map with scouts (when you see the world map with scouts adduced to distinct countries or even continents), better quality of press conferences and may be few brand new tactical settings.
New 3D pitch mode
Quite beautiful 3D mode is certain breakthrough in the game series. At the moment it is implemented very successfully. Though as always there are some parts that can be enhanced. For example the following somewhat moronic mistakes must be corrected: invalid flag direction by assistant referee, "magnetic goalkeeper hands". Moreover everyone would be glad to see more complicated 3D rendering of football match, footballers, managers. Another often inquired feature is better 3D performance for low-end video cards. As you see Sports Interactive Games (Football Manager development team) has to improve much this point. If development team supply all above discussed changes we will receive the most good football manager game in history. No doubt it will be sold even better than previous version providing the highest level of income for Sports Interactive Games. Everyone will be happy finally!
