I have seen many reviews of people who complain about some side effects of Tretinoin cream. Here are a couple of tips I have picked up from using the product for a couple of months now. Although you should be experiencing peeling of your skin, you have to stick through and use some of these tios to get through it. The lod bad skin has to peel to show off the new beautiful skin underneath.
First of all starting with the right strength is key. If you have very sensitive skin or dry skin then start out with the .025%.
Use that every other night for a couple of weeks then once your skin is used to that you can upgrade to the stronger .05%.
Again, use that every other night for a couple of weeks. Usually that strength is enough for most people, but if you have really durable skin then you can get the highest strength which is .01%.
Once you find the strength that is right for you, it is best to find amoisturizernow. Many people complain of red, dry peeling skin after using it, but that is what is supposed to happen. It is shedding your old bad skin and leaving beautiful glowing skin underneath it, so stick with it! Use the Tretinoin cream at night, and during the day use a goodmoisturizer with spf in it. I recommend St. Ives Elements with SPF 15 Mineral Moisturizer. It works great for me, but its a little pricey so I get it off Amazon for the free shipping.
Other tips when using Tretinoin cream are:
-Try to stay out of the sun
-Use a moisturizer
-Make sure to use sunscreen if going out into sun
-DO NOT USE IF PREGNANT
-Stick with it!- Your skin is supposed to peel in order for it to work, use my tips and try to stick with it! Once you get passed the first couple of weeks it will only be clear beautiful skin from there on out!
You can buy all of the things that I have reviewed on Amazon and most of them you can get free shipping!
