If you buy brand named items just for the warranty then you are probably losing money because the money you would spend to get the item fixed is more than you would normally pay for a brand new item.
Look for deals One thing that I have always been taught was to look for deals wherever you go. The fact of the matter is there are tons of deals out there every day, you just have to look for them. My advice when it comes to deals is to look online, offline, in the newspaper, at salons and pretty much wherever else you can think of. Most of the time the biggest deals happen when you are least expecting them to so always be on the lookout for them. Just know that even though price isn't always the issue you still need to be aware of what flat irons normally go for that way you aren't ripped off when you finally decide to buy one.
