2. Spread your calories through 5 - 6 meals each day - This is an eating strategy which I found helpful in many ways. Although it isn't likely to help you get a higher metabolism as was previously believed, eating small meals every 2-3 hours may help you control your appetite better and maintain a more energetic feeling throughout your day.
This will make you more likely to be active and less likely to overeat, two things which help you lose weight and body fat.
3. Eat lots of fruit and vegetables - The many vitamins and minerals in various fruit and vegetables are too numerous to count. Each fruit and veggie has different elements and benefits it may provide you.
I find that vegetables and fruit, of whatever nature, are great snacks. They help you to remain full and keep you from eating the wrong things. Which do you think is better for you, an apple or a chocolate bar? I would choose the apple every time. It's tasty, healthy, and better for fat loss.
