Congratulations you have signed up for Twitter. It's exciting, fun and at the same time you probably have no idea what to say. Don't worry you are not alone. 2. Share - This really ties in to the above tip. Find things your niche or community is interested in, and share it with your followers. Point them to other Twitterers, blog posts, videos or articles. Anything you think they will find interesting, informative or even entertaining.
3. Tweet your blog posts - Go head and do a little self promotion and Tweet your blog posts. But, make sure it's not the only thing you you add to your Twitter stream. Only posting links and information about yourself is boring, self-absorbed and not worth following.
4. Tweet your latest article - Send out a post as soon as you post an article on any article directory. It can be as simple as listing the title and URL to the article, or you could add more if you like. 5. Find a hashtag and join in - Hashtags are a cool way to keep up with a subject or event on Twitter. You might have seen them in other people's posts. This is the hashtag I created for the Hundred Articles Hundred Days article writing challenge.
6. Ask a question - There are people out there in the Twitterverse who are experts on just about any subject imaginable. Find them by doing a search, and send a reply with your question. (Here is an example: @KeithGoodrum What is the color of the sky?)
7. Be Social - Join or start a conversation and become social. The easiest way to do this is to find something someone has said you find interesting, and respond to it, ask a question or add your own take.
