The SVBS2 waste cardboard baler is a standalone vertical baling machine which has been put to great use in the disposal of cardboard/carton. It can strap hundreds of cardboards into a bale at 500kgs, and its density can reach approximately 450kg/m2. The cardboard baler can also be able to press other waste materials, such as PET bottles, plastic films, etc. The volume reduction is even greater at approximately 12:1 when pressing plastic waste. This will mean reduced frequency of visits of the recycling firm from once a week to at least every two weeks or longer which although of minor benefit to the centre will save the recycling operator time and fuel costs.
