In today's world, there are a lot of students that have trouble in school getting their education. This is because students tend to give up on doing their work and getting better grades. They also end up lagging behind on their school work, which includes homework and other school work assignments.
This is where tutoring gets involved with students and their school work. What tutoring does is that it let's tutors interact with students to see where they are in school. Tutoring also teaches the tutor to understand what the students want and need when it comes to getting their school work done and passing their classes.
In some cases, students get stressed because of how hard their school work can get and they have a hard time understanding it. When students recieve tutoring, whether it is with a professional tutor or a student tutor, both kinds of tutors take the time to sit down with all of the students that come to see them and talk with them about what they have trouble with and where they make mistakes on their work.
Tutors also take the time to go over their work so that the student can understand what the tutor is showing them and teaching them. I am a student tutor myself and I get students who come in the The Tutorial and Learning Center stressed out and full of anxiety because their work seems difficult for them to do. When I sit down with them and take a look at their work I can easily point out where their mistakes are, give them examples on how to correct it, and show them what to do if they are unable to understand it on their own.
I enjoy tutoring and helping other students when they need it because tutoring is a big help to them and they leave knowing that they can finish their work and get better grades. Another basic thing about tutoring is that students can let the stress and anxiety go because of the help that they get, and they end up having confidence in their hearts while doing their work on their own.
Lastly, Tutoring helps kids and others later in life because it shows us that there is no harm in asking for help with school work if we are unable to understand it on our own. There have been times when I needed tutoring and it has helped me out a lot. That is why I became a student tutor. I also think that tutoring is a way to give back to our communities and help our communities out because there are lots of students out there who can feel free to use tutoring when they need it.
