Air Conditioning Filters - Some Simple Ways To Change Them

There is dust all around us. 80 percent of the air has dust particles while only 20 percent is clean. The dust particles are very harmful for us. We use air filters everywhere to clean our environment. We also avoid going at dusty places. We keep our surrounding clean to keep away from dirty air. Air-conditioning systems have many parts. Each part has its own function. One of the important parts is the air conditioning filter. The main function of this filter is to keep the inner part of the air-condition system clean. So the air, which comes out of the air conditioner, is clean. It is located along the duct, which gives out air. These filters are re-usable however there is a certain limit to how many times can they be used again.Every device requires maintenance to work properly. Air conditioning filters also require maintenance to work efficiently. As filters trap dust particles there comes a time when the filters are filled with a lot of dust and they need to be cleaned. If the filters get over filled with dust there will be no space for air to pass even. We need do clean the filters regularly if we want efficient results from our cooling device. Leaving the filters unclean will result in creating problems for the cooling machine and it might even get out of order. These filters should also be replaced after a time span of 3 to 6 months. Changing the filters will increase our machines efficiency and increase its life. The performance of your unit lets you know when it is time to replace or clean the filters. Whenever you feel that your air conditioning units are not giving enough cooling, clean its filters if they are dirty. Sometimes the air conditioner does not work properly even after cleaning the filters. Then you know its time to change the filtersCleaning the filters is an easy job and it does not even take much time. Firstly switch of the air conditioner and open the front case of it. Secondly remove the air filters carefully. Thirdly clean all the big dusty particles. Fourthly take a tub, fill it with water. Add a little vinegar to it and sink the filters in it. Leave it in the mixture for a while. Lastly, take the filters out but don't rinse them. Leave them to dry. After they have dried place them back in the unit. When buying air conditioning filters remember to check the size of your previous filters. It is better to take the old filters along and match the size correctly. If not possible then using an inches tape, you can measure the size and ask the shopkeeper to get you a filter of the same size. This is important because if the filter is smaller than the required size the dust particles will come along the cool air. This will result in causing illness and if the filter is large it won't fit your air-conditioning unit.
