Nowadays, not only can you now can pick and choose the sofa sections, but there are also programs on websites where you can assemble the sofa itself, choose the armrest, the upholstery and the feet as well I have been playing with the program all day and I cant stop, it is just so much fun. There is just sooo much to choose from and so many variants to be made! I am so happy to be able use such a program. I dont know how it is even possible to sell furniture in a webshop, furniture in general must be hard to sell let alone webshops, programs like this one must help a lot. One would obviously prefer to test the piece of furniture in question out before actually buying. To feel the texture of the material it is made and so on. It is very very important to me to at least experience the comfort of a sofa or chair before I make the purchase. But these webshops seem to be getting closer to the real thing all the time. Today a program in which to design your own sofa or kithcen or even bathrrom, what next? A vitual reality which includes smells and touch?
Keep thinking about upholstery versus leather also ... I have created a good looking sofa that would fit like a glove in our apartment. The price is right for it and it is in leather, how can I go wrong? I suppose that the price is normal for beutifully designed modern leather sofa. Leather is also a better material than upholstery, it lasts longer, it is more durable and is easier to clean. I have, by the way, seen other sofas which are not quite as nice but the price is half of that which is in leather. Another good part of these other sofas is that you can get money for your old sofa. That was actually my plan from the start, for the leather sofa. So basically buying a leather sofa would be double the cost of an upholstery sofa and I could actually buy an upholstery sofa, wear it out and then buy a new one. Getting the leather sofa seems to be the sillier choice so I will end up buying the more affordable upholstery sofa instead. I know that leather will last longer but in actual fact I prefer upholstery. Oh! But it would be pretty damn neat with the perfect leather on the perfect sofa in the right home!
