Another award for the Land Rover Discovery

The British built Land Rover Discovery was first introduced in 1989 since then it has received over 150 awards from all over the world. The Land Rover Discovery 4 has won awards including, in the UK, 4x4 Magazine's Car of the Year and the Scottish Car of the Year, internationally, the Best 4x4 for Spain's Car and Driver, Best Annual SUV for Autocar in China and All-Round SUV of the Year for Bloomberg's USA.

Recently the Land Rover Discovery 4 has been awarded yet another award, being named 'Best Luxury 4x4' in the inaugural CarBuyer awards. The CarBuyer awards' judging panel reviewed and rated every new model on sale at the moment, focusing on performance, safety, running costs, mpg and overall customer satisfaction and reliability.Recently the Land Rover Discovery 4 has been awarded yet another award, being named 'Best Luxury 4x4' in the inaugural CarBuyer awards. The Land Rover Discovery 4 was a huge success as Dan Strong the editor of CarBuyer, commented, "Our panel of judges was blown away by the Land Rover's ability to turn its hand to anything. The Discovery 4 takes everything from muddy fields to posh hotel car parks in its stride - and everything in between. The award was presented to Dr Ralf Speth, chief executive officer Jaguar Land Rover, Gerry McGovern, design director and John Edwards global brand director, Land Rover at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show.

A Land Rover body shop in Essex recently commented on the number of Discover 4 models it is prepping in anticipation of new owners taking delivery of their new luxury SUV. The Discovery 4 continues to provide its owners with excellent luxury as well as unrivalled off roading abilities.
