Immediately after a string of excellent gigs across the Great britain also revelling in the positive results associated with their earliest EP 'Take Me Back', Son of Eagle before long knew it was time to put together their first album, 'From the Ground'. As with their EP, all tracks ended up with the aid of only one microphone; though not at the same time. Experimenting with numerous sounds and also timbres made through every musical instrument became a prominent factor with regard to the creation of the album; Sarah found the microphone no more than centimetres away from her face, genuinely close to her bow, stimulating the rich overtones of the strings to come through, whilst Ben discovered his bathroom was the perfect acoustic to provide his vocals the crucial haunting sound necessary for 'Sunlight'.

The cd, through the very first track through to the last, illustrates a genuine artistic journey regarding the band. The album name 'From the Ground' adequately is a symbol of the natural and organic characteristics connected with release - there are no alterations to help note pitch, it has a refreshing level of quality about it with every second meticulously thought through.

The band takes the album's listener on a expedition of discovery via suggestions of country, traditional and nu folk music by working with mesmerising, expressive and haunting melodies.

Son of Eagle have already performed the album while in a studio session for BBC Nottingham and numerous regional radio stations have picked the very first single 'HIM' as well as several other tracks from the album. The tracks have already been getting very favorable reviews from both Nu Folk radio stations together with fans.
