Panic Attack Remedy - Little-Known Secret to Fight Anxiety for Good Article

What if I told you that you are the CEO of your own mind? How does this sound to you? Well, to me it sounds like a really effective secret to cure panic attacks but I understand that this term may be a little vague and you may not get the point so let me explain this to you in more details.

If you have been suffering from panic and anxiety attacks, the likelihood that you have not been able to find a genuine panic attack remedy is most probably quite high. I am saying this because around 70% of anxiety sufferers end up developing more serious symptoms and sometimes even much more serious mental health issues, which then become far more complicated to treat than the initial anxiety. You may have heard this before but I think that a little recap is always a good thing.

Now, let's move on to what I call a "little-known secret". In the first paragraph of this article I mentioned that you were the CEO of your own mind and I would like to develop this particular point.

Indeed, what I mean by this is that "you are what you think". Now, think for a minute about the mechanisms of a mind and how it can affect you in many different ways.

Ok, let's start with the basics. If you start imagining something frightening, what do you think will happen? Well, you are simply very likely to become frightened by this irrational thought, aren't you?

Physical and psychological symptoms will pop up and the fear that your own brain triggered will take control of your mind and ultimately your whole self. You will therefore no longer be the" CEO" of this wonderful organ, which is a real shame since it belongs to you and not to an imaginary thought, fear or world. Can you see the whole picture now?

Now, how is it possible to reverse the situation?

First of all, you have to bear in mind that the power of your thought that I have just described can be used positively as well as negatively. Your mind is an extremely well designed and powerful thing that can become your best friend or worst enemy, depending how you choose to use it.

Knowing this, what do you think you could do to reverse the situation? You have at your disposal the most wonderful mechanism available and this is why you must learn how to make use of it to bring peace and harmony instead of fear and anxiety.

Here is another clue that will help you understand what I am getting at. Did you know that anyone has the ability to manipulate every dysfunctional emotions, reactions or thoughts and turn them into something much more positive and much more in line with a healthy lifestyle?

This practical approach is the one used in most therapies such as cognitive behavioural therapy but what I want to emphasize here is that you don't have to always rely on a medical professionals to arrive at a desired result.

Depending on your symptoms and how your panic attacks are triggered, getting familiar with how your brain functions in order to recognise and reduce some of these symptoms remains by far the best solution.

Embrace your fear instead of running away from it.

A common advice given to people suffering from anxiety and panic attacks is simply to try to shift the thoughts but of course this is easier said than done and in most cases, it isn't enough.

Since your brain is this wonderful organ that I have presented earlier in this short article, and since you as a person are the CEO of this brain or shall we call it mind, you have the power to change anything you wish, including getting rid of your anxiety-related issues.

The very first step would simply be to stop moving away from this fear and start embracing and welcoming it. I know that this sounds quite ridiculous at first and when you regularly suffer from anxiety attacks you must be wondering how on earth it is possible to face the situation heads-on.

Well, I think that you simply have to force yourself in the first place. Like everything else, some work, patience and dedication are needed to achieve what you want.

Many great techniques are available to help you understand the real mechanism of your brain and how it is possible to literally prevent anxiety and panic attacks from developing.

It is much easier to do so when you start from scratch and for once why not simply imagine that you are a little child learning new things. I very often compare this method to learning a new language with new rules but to do this successfully, you need to learn how to let go of your emotions and inner feelings.

Also, the good thing about training your brain to recognise the early signs of an oncoming panic attacks is that the more you practice the better you become. It is like everything else in this world and in fact it may even be easier than most of what you have done in other areas so far.

The fact is that you need pointers and ideas to direct your actions. I truly believe that re-claiming your right to control your brain remains the best panic attack remedy there is out there.
