My family came to the United States from Romania over 25 years ago. We have managed to bring over my grandparents to live with us for their retirement. The biggest difference between the F2 and the Fisher F4 metal detector is the search coil. The F4 has an 11 bi-axial search coil, which is more. The F4 seems nicer, more sophisticated, probably easier to use. Both come with a five year manufacturer's warranty, which is nice.
In the end, we got the F4 for Bunicu. He got such a kick out of out when he found it wrapped in his room after returning from a walk with Bunica. He started using it right away. He actually found some turquoise earrings he gave me as a thank you.
