In our world it is getting harder and harder to relax, we work, we have responsibilities, we have to party, etc., but we also need to relax, detox, have a slow, soft and simple day to recharge our spirit. This has helped me a load!
Previous to the "Relax Day":
Clean your house. Having a well organizedenvironment is always a good way of maintaining a relaxed environment.
Do your beauty process. Shave your legs, do your nails, depending on your plans for the next day, do your hair, get a facial, get a massage, etc,.
Make your plans for the next day and prepare for them. Even though there is nodenying on the great plans that arrive when youdon'tplan, because you don't want to leave anything to chance, to make sure your day is as relaxed as possible plan the day in advance. If you are going to the beach, with someone, by yourself, prepare for the beach, leave everything ready to the point you just need to get up and go. If you are going to the movies, pick the movie, check reviews, trailers.
Decided what you will eat. Its always good to decide on food, or have an idea of what you'd like to eat. Its always better if the menu is light, and tasteful.
Go to sleep early.
Relax Day:
Wake up early. Its always good to take your time, no matter what are the plans, and the best way of doing this, is waking up early.
Do somestretchesor Yoga. If you don't know any yoga pose you can look for videos on Youtube or Yoga for dummies.
Have a well balanced breakfast. A full stomach is a happy brain!
Some tea is always nice.
Listen to your "chill" music of choice. Which ever it is, Mozart, Bob Marley, The beach boys, whatever puts you in a good mood, and is soft at the same time.
Drink plenty of water throughout the day. Maintaining ahydratedbody, always helps your state of mind.
Wearcomfortable clothes.
Leave your phone to ring only on incoming calls. If anyone has something urgent to say they will call, not send a message. This is if you can't get rid of your phone all together, phones have a way of stressing our bodies.
Where to go:
If you don't have a very clear idea on what to do, here are some examples:
Museums,
Libraries,
Picnics,
