Immediately after a string of impressive gigs around the Great Britain along with revelling in the great success connected with their earliest EP Take Me Back, Son of Eagle very quickly awakened to the fact it was time to create their first album, From the Ground. As with their EP, the banded wanted to create a nu folk meets traditional folk sound and all recordings had been via a single microphone; nevertheless not at the same time.
