Top Chef: All Stars Season 8 Episode 16: Finale. This Bravo Top Chef: All Stars 8?16 tv show with title Finale aired on Wednesday, March 30 2011 at 10.00 PM. Here is the summary for Top Chef: All Stars Season 8 Episode 16: Finale: In the Season 8 finale, the final all-star food fighters try to seal the deal with an ideal meal. Afterward, the winning chef is revealed. Following in the footsteps of the revered Iron Chef, and riding the crest of the eality trend still sweeping U.S. networks in the mid-2000s, the Bravo network's eality series Top Chef pits 15 chefs against one other in an on-camera competition of food preparation to vie for the title of premier culinary maestro. Each episode of the series plunges contestants into two phases: the first half constitutes a series of tests of their basic culinary skills, the second a more aggressive and cutthroat "elimination round" that throws extreme and stressful obstacles in the paths of participants to observe how they cope when faced with such crises - everything from obnoxious and eccentric customers with strange requests to the pressure of whipping up masterpieces from bizarre and seemingly incompatible ingredients. Above all else, contestants' management, business, and customer-service abilities are also evaluated. In true eality-series mode, each episode concludes with one of the 15 participants told to "pack up your knives" and hit the road - until only a single chef remains. Following the announcement Richard would go on to the finale, Antonia and Mike were given the opportunity to cook one last perfect bite. The chef preparing the dish the judges preferred would be the second chef to continue to the finale. In case you are one of those folks who would almost pull your hair out in order to whip up that extraordinary steak perfectly, and for any minute or two, you tend to glance from side to help side, and just lose your focus and screw up with everything again.

How far will he go this time? Dale Talde: Dale roared out of the gate, notching three early Elimination wins in season 4. Casey Thompson: Both a finalist and a Fan Favorite in season 3, Casey could be one of the All-Stars to beat. Marcel Vigneron: Marcel's mastery of molecular gastronomy took him to the finals in season 2. Fabio Viviani: Fabio won over judges and viewers in season 5, reaching the final four and earning Fan Favorite honors. Ok, to start off with, I think the All-Stars concept is a good one and it looks like Bravo will churn out another juicy and entertaining season. Because all of the chefs are previously highly placed contestants, you automatically feel that they deserve to be there and you're willing to give them a chance. This setting fosters an inherent amount of goodwill towards the contestants and it's a good way for the show to start. With that in mind, I have only watched 2 seasons in its entirely: seasons 6 and 7. So of course, I find myself automatically rooting for the ones I know: Jen and Mike, and Tiffany and Angelo. Of those 4 I think Jen and Angelo are the most talented. Angelo seems a little less creepy than usual (I hope he learned something from watching back his season), but still just as gifted, as proven by his elimination challenge victory. Jen's dish was basically a disaster, which I was surprised and dismayed to see, but I think it's just an one-off performance and I hope that she'll bounce back in the next challenge. Mike's a good guy and decent chef and Tiffany's obviously talented, but she needs to have her food shine as bright as her personality in this group of people.

It's almost too much, especially if you don't have a history with that cheftestant (irritating word, I know). In particular, the person who most rubbed me the wrong way was Marcel.
