Be Candid
Most guys don't' realize it, but a lot of women do realize when they guy is simply all talk, especially when all the guy talks about is himself. He can do this, he can do that, and before he knows it, the girl has lost interest. Learn to know when to stop talking and when to start listening to what the girl has to say. When you do talk, try to be pleasantly candid, not all women would like to hear your life story.
Pay Her a Compliment
Flattery is always appreciated. It doesn't take much to say something nice about the woman you are talking to. When you do pay a compliment, try to make it sound a bit more original than just "I like your hair" or "that's a really nice dress". You could try saying "you really have good taste in clothing" or "not many women look good in that dress, but you do." Whatever you say, try to be sincere about it, and before you know it, you've won the lady over.
It's Not a Race
While it is good to be optimistic, try real hard not to be overzealous. Being both adults, you both know where the date would end up if everything goes well, but you really don't need to be overly enthusiastic about getting into bed with her. Picking women up is not just all about sex, it's about having a great time socializing with someone, which could lead to something very interesting for the both of you.
