Need a female mannequin? Consider renting!

Before you rent your mannequins, you need to consider several points how many you'll need, how long you'll need them for and whether there's a local firm or project that might have spares to offer you. Similarly, if your shop is brand new or has recently reopened due to water or other damage, renting female mannequins can help you work with your budget without creating an additional burden at the outset.

Your mannequins should be delivered and in some cases the company offering them for rental will help you set them up, so if you're planning on renting them for an event, contact them. They may be providing mannequins for other areas of the show in which case, the show itself may have an agreement with them and you may be able to get them cheaper or with better terms. You should also ensure that the mannequins are insured or protected some companies offer this, but if not you need to discuss this with your business insurance, to ensure that should the worst happen, you're not stuck with a bill for multiple mannequins.

Check too the contract you're given if there's a specific time they need to be back to the company, ensure that they are ready to be taken when they arrange to return for them. Late charges can often be as much as an extra day's rental.

Female mannequins for charity

Often, charity shops set up short term leases in malls where stores are available if you're renting a set of female mannequins for a temporary project, you may want to mention that to the rental company they might be able to offer a better rate depending on what sort of charity you are, and the length of time you need them. Again, ensure that your company has insurance to protect the female mannequins and ensure too that your business has the room to display your items on it. Renting rails may also reduce the cost of any female mannequins you choose, so find out if your companies have a package deal in many cases it's often cheaper than buying shop fittings just to sell them on again at the end of the project.
