What is the hottest I.TWhat is the hottest I.T. product in 2011?

What is the hottest I.T. product in 2011? The answer is tablets, to be more accurate, android tablets. Although many people have said this, but what you have to admit is that 2011 is the crucial year that if android tablets would expand. HP, Acer, Toshiba, Dell they all released their own android tablets in CES at the beginning of this year. I roughly counted that there would be at least 33 android tablets from now to June,2011, so there begins another hot discussion topic, will android tablets threaten iPad's market? In other words , whole I.T. field eager to know, will android tablets be as popular as iPad? Is there any shortcut to success?

Some might say, as a outstanding model of tablets PC, Apple's iPad has been sold millions and it looks that iPad2 will continuing follow the success. Android tablets may seems a bit redundant? The point is, if everyone is saying 2011 will be tablets year', and if there's still one player on the stage, then year of tablets may be vainglorious, and look upon history, there's no successful example that one player is playing the whole market would keep growing.

Anyways, from the bottom of my heart, I'm very happy to see that there are hundreds of tablets on the market, to be a wonderful year. But the truth might not be so optimistic. Let's say, for no doubt that tablet PC will continue selling like hot cakes. And still, it's Apple's one man show'. For many manufacturers, they are in this tablets business, it's not strategic offense but more likely they are trying to get what they have lost from Apple.

Why so many manufacturers took aggressive pose at tablets but they took no actions until 2011? iPad's success has made them understand what customer needs from a tablet, and then they have their own tablets made. However, they were very careful when they launch their tablets products, and they've been trying to find a shortcut for the break through in the market. This is really an interesting and rare scene. After all, it's all because the huge competitive advantage the iPad has, and apple is so mature and veteran.
