Description: In this paper, a hotel in Hunan use of groundwater source heat pump central air conditioning system run status, according to the characteristics of its own air pump for the system proposed frequency control energy saving proposals and programs, using equivalent peak hours method and the static energy recovery from detailed demonstration of both the feasibility of the reform program. The results show that the reform program of not less than the heat pump to ensure the minimum requirements of the water at the same time, automatically adjust according to changes in load flow pumps, energy-saving effect is remarkable, static short payback period, is feasible.

1 INTRODUCTION Centralized air conditioning system to create a comfortable environment for people and also brought energy issues, how to meet the air-conditioned comfort while also maximizing energy conservation, has been growing concern for people. Current air conditioning system design and selection of pumps and other equipment are carried out according to the most adverse conditions, and that left a certain margin. As the seasons, day and night and the customer load changes, the actual air-conditioning heat load most of the time than the design load is low, most of the time air-conditioning system is in part load operation. The operation is the air-conditioning pumps work all year long at rated operating conditions, only through the throttle to reduce the water flow to meet the load requirements, making water pumps most of the power consumed in overcoming the resistance of the throttle valve, waste water pump running delivery of energy. General air pump air conditioning system the total power consumption accounts for about 20-30%, so saving water system with low load transport energy, reducing energy consumption of the entire air conditioning system is significant. In this paper, a hotel in Hunan
used groundwater source heat pump system, according to the status quo of the system to run water pumps for closed loop air-conditioning energy-saving automatic frequency control, from energy conservation and passive recovery period, demonstrates that the transformation program is effective feasible.
2 Air Conditioning System Overview The hotel is located in Yangtze River region northwest of the Li County of Hunan Province, the author in January 2003 to March of the hotel's winter ground source heat pump system operating conditions tested, the test results order as Table 1 . As the hotel's occupancy rate, outdoor air temperature change, human activity content and other reasons, the system is basically a load of 80% in the design and the following operation, which runs on the design load of 60% of the possession of 63.48%. Obviously the state selected under full load heat pump units, water pumps and other equipment so that in their long-term continuous operation under part load, low-efficiency equipment, most of the time in working condition. The system heat pump units running in parallel and a small, heat capacity, respectively 100KW, 40KW; two parallel hot water circulation pump the same model, the nameplate rated power are 2.2KW; deep well pump nameplate rated power 7.5KW (system diagram shown in Figure 1), and the constant flow of all pumps are running, always running frequency mode. When the unit is running at part load, often through a small tube off the road to adjust the water supply valve, causing a great deal of energy waste, so we need to look at improvements to the air conditioning system.
