Article 395: Suggested Super Arab State Model for all Arabs

Hasan Yahya, Ph.Ds, the Dean of Arab writers in North America.

The ideal type of political style for the Arab states suggested is sharing the natural resources of the Arab land. This means the oil production revenues. This means sharing cross borders planning, free traveling, and exchange of benefits for all citizens no matter where they live.

If this model was recognized by young people in the Arab countries, then their slogans have to be broader than what they call for.

When we look at the successful recent revolutions in Tunisia and Egypt, and soon in Libya and Yemen, and the improvement of social affairs in the rich countries, such as Oman, Saudi Arabia, and Bahrain, we may expect that generosity of the regimes is limited to their borders, where other Arab citizens in poor countries still suffer life cost if the situation persists.

Therefore, our call for the suggested political-socio-economic model to be practiced in all countries will benefit all Arab citizens, otherwise the call of the revolutionary youth in Tunisia, Egypt, Yemen, and other places.

One of the causes of recent political unrest is unemployment, lack of movement freedom, misuse of natural resources, the rate of graduates from higher education institutions and universities in almost in all Arab countries constitutes a rising danger for unrest in the future.

Opening borders between Arab countries summarizes the super Arab model, it will reduce tension and will promote interaction and skills exchange. It will open wider projects of transportation and communication. It will contribute in building civil institutions on the grounds of free well and cooperation to build the suggested model.

In conclusion, no matter how thinkers may draw the lines of the new stage, the chance remains open to share ideas to promote the new model. Otherwise, the next uprising expected will have different goals but directed to share wealth among Arab countries. Instead of helping only Bahrain and Oman from the Gulf states by providing billions of Dollars to overcome their people's uprising. Such assistance should be broader in scale to cover other Arab countries as well. (362 words) www.askdryahya.com
