A white bathroom suite may be a better idea than a coloured one as colours come and go with fashion and replacements items will be easier to find in white. Also, a strongly coloured bathroom could put people off buying your house if you ever needed to sell. It's much better to brighten up the bathroom with fresh paint because it is a lot easier to change.
If you are making major changes to the room, the best thing to do would be to go to a showroom and look at baths, showers, sinks, floor tiles, and loos in situ they can sometimes look quite different from their photographs. Ask experts for help and get the best advice possible.
