Reese Witherspoon, the 35-year-old Oscar-winning actress put onher wedding gown again last weekend. As her second wedding, it took place at her $7 million 6-acre ranch house in Ojai Valley of California on the evening of March 26. Wearing a custom-made Monique Lhuillier wedding dress, she walked down the aisle with her agent plus fianc Jim Toth to the music "Here Comes the Bride" and then they exchanged vows. A total number of over 120 relatives and friends of Reese's present at the wedding, including both her parents and a couple of stars such as Renee Zellweger, Tobey Maguire, Salma Hayek, Sean Penn, etc.
Such a location for their wedding is very meaningful since both ofReese and Jim used spend many romantic moments together there shortly after they fell in love with each other. It was told by a source that the venue arrangement is being done at the moment, "Candles and flowers will be everywhere, in white and pastels, for an intimate feeling."
Reese is well-known by the public for her performances in Legally Blonde and Walk the Line. In particular the latter one even pushed her to the stage to accept the award for Best Actress at 78th Oscars.
Reese, 35 by this month, used to have a marriage with actor Ryan Phillip whom she met at a birthday party when she was 21. They fell in love immediately at first sight, in turn they got married in 1999 but finally announced their divorce in 2006 after seven years of marriage, and they have a total of two children. After the divorce Reese used to be in a relationship with Jake Gyllenhaal for two years but still their relationship turned up nothing in the end. But now, she has eventually found her "one and only".
One of Reese's friend said, "Reese is very happy, not only she has a new husband, but also her baby has a new dad."
As Reese's best friend, Heather Rosenfeld served as bridesmaid. Witherspoon's children (with her ex-husband Ryan Philippe) Ava, 11 and Deacon, 7, also attended this second wedding of their mother, while her niece served as flower girls. In addition, the Reverend Jimmy Bartz officiated at this wedding that lasted 20 minutes in all.
It was reported that Reese started to date her 40-year agent Jim Toth since last January. They got engaged after Jim proposed to her with a 4-carat diamond ring last December and eventually their happy event came true last Saturday as mentioned above. In particular, Jim even arrived at the destination so early before the wedding started, while Reese looked very pleased with herself throughout the whole wedding. Apparently both of them felt excited for their visible future.
Low-key can be the best word to describe such a wedding for Reese Witherspoon. In order to avoid disturbing her neighbors, she even made polite notices in advance to them by her personalized letters last week. In each of the letters she made an apology for all the noise and traffic issues caused by her guests and the preparation work for the wedding. Following the ceremony of exchanging vows to each other, a total number of 80 doves were released at once then hovered high in the sky. What a romantic scene it was for such a wonderful wedding!
