If this is part of our Constitution, then where is it written that a private entity (Federal Reserve Bank) was given permission to print new worthless toilet paper "fiat" money.
Did Congress repeal Article 1, Section 8 of the Constitution? If so, where is it written?
I read that during the War Between the States, that both the Union and Confederate governments started to print paper money. They were called I believe, "Gold Certificates" and they certified that the bearer of such paper money could turn in the paper money and receive Gold to the value printed on the paper. This was done with Gold coins.
Why was this done? One explanation could be that the coins were very cumbersome and practically tore holes in a soldiers uniform. In battle hemight then lose those coins which represented his pay. I say his, because no women were allowed in the front lines.
The Federal Reserve Bank was established in 1913 and from this date on, we have been in financial trouble.
In 1933, President Roosevelt with the stroke of his pen, removed us from the "Gold Standard". The printed "Gold Certificates" then became "Silver Certificates. Thirty some years later, President Nixon removed us from the "Silver Standard". So now we have in our pocket, pieces of paper that people call "the dollar", and it is almost worthless.
I ask you, if you couldn't pay your mortgage, would the bank allow you to live in your house? If you had car payments and couldn't make your monthly payment, you can bet your last dollar, the REPO man would show up? I could go on and on!
