European Tour: Kenneth Ferrie shot a 60 and climb within a stroke of leader Paul Lawrie (65) at the Andalucia Open in Malaga, Spain. Ferrie had an eagle on No. 12 and eight birdies to stand at 11-under 199 along with Mark Foster (65). "It was unspectacular, but it added up to a spectacular score," he said. Thirteen others have shot 60 on tour.
Nationwide Tour: Brett Wetterich shot a 1-under 70 despite a few late mistakes and led the Louisiana Open in Broussard. Wetterich was at 11-under 202, two shots ahead of Bubba Dickerson (67), Rich Barcelo (68) and Charles Warren (69).
LPGA Tour: Jiyai Shin posted a third-round 3-under 70 to take a one-shot lead over Sandra Gal (70) at the Kia Classic. Shin was at 15-under 204 at Industry Hills Golf Club. Michelle Wie (71) was at 214. Back on tour after finishing finals at Stanford, she had five birdies and three bogeys in the round. Gal finished with a 68.
