Loneliness causes us to doubt ourselves, distrust our own thought processes since we're not able to get much third party feedback. Each and every one of us humans are communal creatures and we require each other to furnish us with a feeling of fitting in and a context for why we're alive. For the majority of history, folks were born and buried in the district as scores of their ancestors. Our modern culture is so splintered, causing us to live a ton of our lives autonomous, even if we're married, that we hurt as a result. The christian church is to function as a neighbourhood of like minded believers; an area where individuals can show up and link up with other believers so their feelings of lonesomeness can be scattered. For us to become a vibrant community, we have got to expend the time and energy communing in unity with each other if we are to experience it's advantages.All of us have trials, fears and wishes that we long to share with other trustworthy folks. The trials we encounter can on occasion give us more than we can handle though, not as a result of the magnitude of the trial, but very often because we question if there is a little something amiss with us. On those occasions where we find ourselves working to surmount some of life's obstacles, our brains can mislead us into thinking that we are in some strange way unique in our challenges. One single thought can lead to another, and sooner than we can realize it, we have disappeared down the detrimental road of thinking that there is something critically wrong with us. "Boat loads of other folks aren't needing to manage this type of problem like I appear to be, so perhaps there's something seriously wrong with me?" we think. Struggles like this exist in all aspects of our lives and most definitely in our spiritual lives as well. Subsequently, we all need to have the ability to reveal accounts of our christian walk with other like minded believers, and gain some much needed impartiality regarding our relationship with God. This embodies one of the primary roles that we the body of Christ are suppose to accomplish in the world. It's vital for us to be assembling with one another with the intention to edify and assist each other. So, it's essential that we establish our times together in such a way that we are permitted to share private parts of our lives. We have to be able to grow high trust relationships and this can never be done if we cleave to model's of church that transfer most of our time together for staring at the back of one another's heads.It's important that we take the time to eat together, genuinely get to know each other's desires and fears, and make the commitment to be the church as opposed to going to a church meeting.
