Practical nursing will make you help patients in moving which may sometimes cause backaches. While working as a practical nurse you would be exposed to many cautious chemicals, dangerous radiations and infectious diseases which can sometimes create trouble for you. LPNs may also have to be at work 24 hours a day if they get hired to take care of a patient at home. A LPN usually earns more than 45,000 dollars every year, which is a lot of money. Apart from these high earnings, this career offers great chances of promotions. You can wait and get experience to get promoted or you can attend special classes to get to the most senior post of a hospital nurse which is the post of a registered nurse. Once you become a registered nurse you can specialize in any nursing fields. There are many specialized nursing fields like midwifery nurses who take care of the pregnant ladies, or you can choose to become a school nurse who takes cares of children in schools. These specializations allow you to get paid more and it also allows you to change your working environment.
