In other words lack of proof in either respect, favorable or unfavorable, must be the case.
It is thus, and according to this view, valid proofs or even solid arguments are superfluous.
The reason for this, in this perspective, is that every human being, must and have to make one's own convictions in either direction.
This leaves the option of the choice as an obligation, inescapable and inevitable.
Belief replaces scientific evidence and empirical proof. Disbelief, on the other hand represents the other side of the coin.
This explains the major split between humans, throughout time and place of believers and disbelievers.
It proves the rule.
Thus lack of proof gives emergence, by necessity, to twofold categories of human beings: Believers in God and disbelievers. The proof of this idea lies in fact in the presence of two major categories of humans.
Any proof, or evidence, would result in either belief or disbelief. Proof that God exists, leads all humans to go down on their knees and acknowledge the existence of God. Proof of the nonexistence of God leads all humans to deny God.
It is the crux of matter.
This might be the case, for no evidence is brought in support for the arguments of the religious arguments, in the Scriptures for example, because man is, and must have mind to think and then make his own choice.
Look at your life. You are forced to come into this life. You have a certain form and shape, constituents and colors. You have thousands of systems that make you what you are. You have needs and drives. You are given a perfect mind of one hundred and twenty billions of neurons working to perfection, and in which you did not contribute one neuron, and you are made to think. You are put against the universe e and have confront it whether you like it or not. You have to think about it, about your own being, your origin, your purpose, your finality.
All are vital subjects which you are made to confront, whether you like it or not. You are put through the process of ageing and then death betakes. No one asks you your opinion, whether you would like to come to this life or not, not even the shape and from you have, even the colors of your eyes and hair are already made for you
You realize, with your genius, that you have not contributed anything to all these phenomena. You realize you are only an observer and not an actor and that you have to take a decision whether to believe in a power that made you and everything else or to deny such a power.
Lack of proof, lack of proof, my friend! It all does it, it all explains it.
Geniuses before you have tried to find some little minor evidence to believe or disbelieve, but all attempts were, and still are, sterile, dead ends and lead to nothing.
It is exactly because your role in this life is to make your own thoughts and convictions about it yourself. This not gives you only the freedom and value as a human being but also, and most important of all your individual and personal responsibility before the power that put your atoms together.
Would you then, foolish enough, make the wrong decision and deny this power? Let alone acknowledge it? Worship it? And serve it?
You have a life and only one to believe or disbelieve with all the consequences of your decision at the end of time.
