Vert Freak - This Vertical Jumping Program is Helping Athletes Add Inches to Their Vertical Jump

Athletes everywhere know that the ability to jump high is an important skill to have. For basketball players, being able to jump high means being able to shoot the three over a tall defender, block a shot and send it into the atmosphere, and being able to dunk the ball whenever and on whoever. If you're an athlete who has been wondering if its possible to increase your vertical jump then the answer is yes, and if you want to do it in a short period of time you should consider getting the Vert Freak program.

The program was created by Adam Linkenauger who accomplished being the winner of the National Powerade Dunk contest. In the program there is a 350 page vertical jumping manual filled with drills and exercises. There is also a video gallery of over 180 videos showing the athlete how to correctly and effective perform each drill and exercise so that they prevent injury and get the results they got the program for. The program has been updated to version two and it is constantly being updated with new material by Adam.

Vert Freak is a 12 week jumping program with drills and exercises categorized in beginner, intermediate and expert. Obviously meaning that as the athlete moves forward in the program they will be doing jump drills and exercises that get harder. There is also a interactive software of the program that can be used on computer which is convenient because it lets the athlete track and chart their progress as they go through the 12 weeks. The software also has everything that is in the book and video gallery on it, and because of this the videos can be uploaded to a portable device.

There is a book about mentality, a book about nutrition, a static stretching guide and a weight lifting guide to target the muscles that are specifically involved in jumping. Reasons why I got the program personally were that Adam proved that he has a 50 inch vertical jump, he appeared on a ESPN Powerade commercial, the program has been reviewed on the ESPN, NBA and the Sports Illustrated websites, and the fact that it has a money back guarantee just in case the athlete doesn't have success using it.

My final words are that the Vert Freak program is worth getting or at least considering for athletes who want to increase their vertical leap.
