From one side of the universe to the other, you will find only God!
If it took light radiation about 13.7 billions of years being the estimated age of the universe today, then scientists estimate the distance to reach the edge of the world must be 13.7 billions of light years from us.
All is not definite, all is mere scientific hypotheses, but the scientific tendency to accept these measures as plausible is strong. Unless, of course, the world is eternal and the singularity of the big bang is proven wrong in the future.
From this we have an immense living universe for it dilutes, expands, moves, functions and is full of energies, light, gravitation, mass, constancies and the list is long, usually estimated at about thirty five physical constancies that are necessary to the formation of our universe and do not change. It is also observed that the slightest change in these constancies result in sterility of life and a radical change in the structure of the universe where galaxies and stars may not find their way to life.
What is interesting in all these scientific observations reveals a presence of a lively universe with all its order, harmony, constituents and laws that govern its presence as it is in the most precise and succinct manner possible.
For such a presence and precision of functioning there must be a controlling power which we identify as God. This remains without any proof nor evidence but our being is so structured that we have to confront our universe and conclude a God or not, and lack of such a proof, everyone is at liberty to make his or her own convictions.
Science cannot confirm the need for such a creating. Designing and controlling power, a programmer, nor is it in the position to deny such a power.
We humans, whether scientists or not make our own ideas and have a lifetime to make it. It is our own personal convictions and may or may not relate to reality.
But an argument can be presented at this point that the mere presence, structure, function and order of the universe is more indicative of a power-cause-creator than the contrary. How come the universe came about? What is this universe? And what is its purpose?
This necessitates answers but lack of any evidence we are left only with our own judgment.
However, if such a logic can be admitted then we are faced with an explanation, outside the realm of science, which constitutes our belief system.
If an only if we arrive to a belief conviction then what we observe and what is submitted to scientific study is a master power that must be omnipresent everywhere and at every moment to keep the universe as it is, hold it together and mange it at leisure. This master Power, identified as God, must be then everywhereall thetime.
