It's a fact that by the time you reach 30 years old, it is harder than ever to shed off some excess belly fat. This is especially the case if you are living a sedentary lifestyle or just do not watch what you eat. But although it may be harder than ever to have a flat stomach, it is not impossible. Nothing is impossible.

The first thing you will have to address is your carbohydrate intake. How many carbohydrates do you have to take each day? It depends on your physical activities. I do not recommend to eliminate them completely as they do have some benefits to your health, but because it is such a big factor on why there are fat bellies everywhere. Everyone is overeating on foods that have too many carbohydrates.

The second one is eating vegetables. You don't like them? Sorry, but you will have to incorporate them in whatever diet you are in. This works especially well when you are reducing your carbohydrates because veggies will take their place and will be the ones that will make you full instead. Not to mention the countless health benefits that you are getting from them.

The third is exercising. I'm not telling you to go to the gym every day, although that truly helps, but just go for some exercises that you can maintain for a long period of time without having to burn out. If you could only walk for about 30 minutes per day, you won't see your abs any time soon, but it is a good stepping stone. When you feel like those 30 minute walks are getting too easy, then it's time to ramp it up. You could walk faster or longer. Although an increase in intensity will likely be more beneficial. This can be applied to any kind of workout.

The last one is somewhat connected to the first. This is to avoid all foods that are white. Examples are rice, bread, potatoes, anything that can be white. Yes, including pasta. Our ancestors did not need these types of food in order to survive, and we sure as heck do not, too. They are tasty and some people cannot have a meal without them, but trust me that you will see the results of this in as little as a week.

So there you have some tips on how to have a slimmer belly. If you follow these tips, there is no doubt in my mind that you will achieve the body that you have always dreamed of. Just remember to follow everything that I have said to the letter and your success will come sooner rather than later.
