The right protective eye wear is a nesessity when at the shooting range. Bullet fragments or powder burns can really get you in the face if your not protecting yourself. I went to the shooting range the other day and next to me was a guy shooting an AK47 and it was on rapid fire, most shooting ranges do not allow rapid fire and everytime he shot it the smoke and powder from his gun was coming over into my area where I was shooting. I had my glasses off at the time and some of it was getting in my eyes.
The first time I went to the range I went without protective shooting glasses because I thought someone would have a pair there to let me use and they didn't I had to go all the way home to get a pair of safety glasses that I used at work and found that they really didn't do so well because the powder was getting up into my eyes. I couldn't stand it so when I was done on the way out I asked a few people where they got their cool shooting glasses from and they told me they only paid about twenty dollars for them at 995sunglasses.com
The ones that I saw on some of the guys shooting were tinted and they were the wraparound glasses that I really liked, so I knew I had to get a pair of them before I came back to shoot at the range. I went home and checked online and there they were, they were priced fair and looked to be of high quality and some people already reviewed them and said they were nice shooting glasses. The thing I liked best about them is that they are Military Approved.
I placed my order and less then a week later they came and was very happy, the guys at the range made fun of me for a bit but we all laughed about it. Now I am fully protected when I go to the shooting range. My dad liked them so much he even bought a pair as well. Now we can go to the shooting range and never again worry about our face and eyes being in harms way.
